The Hutchison/MRC Research Centre provides a unique opportunity to work at the interface between basic and clinical cancer research. Moreover, the close integration of research programmes between the Cancer Research UK Department of Oncology and the MRC Cancer Cell Unit allows for a stimulating and interactive environment. We have an international community of researchers and we are committed to the training of young scientists and clinicians. Situated on the Addenbrooke's Hospital site, our institute is an integral part of the vibrant Cambridge research community including the University of Cambridge and its academic Departments, the MRC Laboratory of Molecular Biology, the WT Sanger Institute and the WT/CRUK Gurdon Institute. The historic city of Cambridge offers a variety of cultural and social activities and the sights of London are less than an hour away by train.
